Evidence of the remarkable workmanship of an Amish crafted chair includes:
- Chairs are inspected & hand-sanded before finishing with a catalyzed Resistovar finish.
- Chair backs protrude through seats & are wedged, glued, & screwed.
- All chairs are made of 100% solid wood. (No laminates, particle board, or substitute woods).
- The underside of all chairs are stained & sealed.
- All lower stretchers to legs are glued & screwed.
- All legs to seat are glued & screwed.
